Kitchen Renovations on the Costa del Sol
A kitchen renovation touches everything: water, waste, electrics, tiling, flooring, extraction and carpentry. That's why it fails when it's split between four different contractors. VANHEES handles the whole kitchen replacement — from disconnecting the old units to the final siliconed splashback.
Most kitchens we replace on the coast are the originals: heavy gloss units from the 90s and 2000s, tiled worktops, awkward layouts that waste space. The renovation usually opens the layout, upgrades services where needed, and installs modern cabinetry with a durable worktop and integrated appliances.
What a kitchen renovation includes
Depending on the property:
- Removal and disposal of the old kitchen
- Plumbing repositioned for the new layout
- Electrics: sockets, induction-ready points, lighting
- Wall and floor tiling where finishes change
- New cabinetry, worktop and splashback
- Integrated appliances fitted and connected
- Final painting and finishing around the kitchen
Our approach
We start from how you actually use the kitchen — cooking every day, or mostly a holiday apartment where the kitchen needs to look sharp and work simply. That decision drives the layout, the storage and the appliance level, and it's settled before a single unit is ordered.
Our recent kitchen renovation in Calahonda replaced heavy gloss units and a granite worktop with warm oak cabinetry, a stone worktop and integrated appliances — a brighter, far more functional kitchen in the same footprint. The before-and-after photos are on the projects page.
